1. How do I find out more about the different ministries offered through Shiloh?

These classes are encouraged for all New Members. Its purpose is help new members become acclimated to Shiloh Christian Community Church.

2. What’s required to join a ministry in Shiloh?

The only requirement to join a ministry in Shiloh is to have a willing heart and proper attitude to serve the Lord in the way that He has called, gifted and talented you. It is our goal for each member to be involved in the service of the Lord, so our ministries are designed for inclusion, not exclusion.

3. When do I receive the Right Hand of Fellowship?

New Members will receive the Right Hand of Fellowship on the Communion Sunday following the month you joined. In Shiloh, the Right Hand of Fellowship is the practice where we officially welcome you as a new member into our family. It is a Biblical practice found in Galatians 2, where Paul mentions three of Jesus’ disciples offered him the right hand of fellowship, welcoming him to the Christian Church. Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the service so you may be seated in the appropriate area.  When you arrive, simply let any usher know that you are here for the Right Hand of Fellowship, and they will escort you to the correct area.

4. When is Baptism?

Baptism is scheduled on an as needed basis. To schedule your Baptism, please contact the church office or your assigned Deacon for Life.

5. Is it possible to speak with the Pastor?

Our Pastor is very present and accessible to our congregation, whether you’ve been here for a lifetime or if you’re a new member. He is actively involved in our ministries and activities throughout the church. As such, you will see him and have the opportunity to interact with him.
