CHOSEN KIDZ CHURCH
Children’s Ministry (Kindergarten - 5th Grade)
Our Chosen Kidz Church is held every 1st and 3rd Sunday during at 11 am service for our students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our students are taught about God and God’s ways in an engaging and meaningful way.
CHOSEN TEENS (Middle & High School Students)
CHOSEN Teen’s ministry has several different components that contribute to their growth.
This is a full youth worship experience created for students in middle and high school. This worship experience is youth-led and youth-focused. The Plug-In is held on a quarterly basis, doors open at 6:45 pm and worship begins at 7:15 pm.

The REGAL Women Internship program is a free ten-month program for young ladies, between the ages of 11-17, at Shiloh Christian Community Church. In partnership with Rising Over Standards and Excelling, Inc., we envision our young ladies to have morals, values, and manners. We aspire to help them to be confident and develop standards. Knowing that they are beautiful, intelligent, and talented, we seek to assist them in achieving their goals, dreams, and aspirations no matter what they may be. Our young women are our future.

The ROYAL Men Internship program is a free ten-month program for young men, between the ages of 11-17, at Shiloh Christian Community Church. In partnership with Rising Over Standards and Excelling, Inc., We envision our young men to have morals, values, and manners. Our boys stand out for their interesting personalities, talents, and intelligence. They are energetic, curious, and destined to achieve whatever they desire in life. Our young men are our future.
The Millennial Ministry of Shiloh hosts a monthly bible study on the third Wednesday of each month for Bible Study and Fellowship specific to their demographic. Check the Event Calendar for exciting events for our Millennials!
Tuesday Senior’s Ministry, ages 55+, meets every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm for Bible Study and Fellowship. To gain more information or to join, email call the church office.
Small Group Ministry provides the opportunity for members to study the Word and fellowship in a small group setting. Each Small Group meets the last week of each month. Contact the church office to get connected.
Chosen 2 Praise – Keonta’ McMiller
The Youth Dance Ministry is committed to serving the Lord in dance with excitement and joy with the goal of praise and worship to God while encouraging others to do the same. The dance ministry should be seen as a Godly outlet for all those who desire to praise God through the art of dance. Our dances should bring liberation to the people of God and to ourselves. Through dance, we encourage the believer in his relationship with The Lord and draw the unbeliever to him. We begin by encouraging ourselves in our love for God and each other.
Courtesy Circle – Deacon Renee Murrell
This group represents the official arm of the church that extends warm, heartfelt words of welcome to visitors and members each Sunday. They also host a reception for and follow up with first-time visitors.
Culinary Arts – Deacon Robert Ducket Sr.
The culinary arts ministry provides food service for churchwide and individual ministry events and seeks to establish an environment where Christian fellowship can be enjoyed by all.
Educational Assistance Committee – Denise Crawford
This group seeks to provide financial assistance to qualifying members who are pursuing higher education.
Excellent Praise Dance Ministry – Vynae Lynn
The dance ministry is committed to serving the Lord in dance with excitement and joy with the goal of praise and worship to God while encouraging others to do the same.
Greeting Card Ministry – Joyce Hinton
This group has as its purpose to ensure that each member of Shiloh receives a greeting card from the Pastor and their church family for their Birthday and Anniversary celebrations.
Helping Hands – Lisa Sellers
This ministry seeks to minister to some of the temporal needs of the Pastor. 1stCorinthians 9:11, “If we have sown unto you spiritual things, [is it] a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?”
Holy Host Ministry - Lee Davis
This ministry is dedicated to greeting and trying to make all parishioners feel welcome as they enter the house of the Lord for worship.
Junior Ushers – Sylvia White & Deacon William Reed
This is a group of dedicated youth doorkeepers who lead processionals, who greet and seat worshippers with a smile and assist in the orderliness of the worship experience.
Male Chorus - Trench Davis
This is an all-male choir established to zealously lift the Word of God in song; glorify God and praise His son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Marriage Ministry – James & Antoinette Woolford
The Marriage Ministry exists to encourage the development and maintenance of strong and healthy marriages based upon unconditional love and a commitment to the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.
Mass Choir – Eleanora Johnson-Dixon
The mass choir is comprised of all of the members of the music ministry that provides musical selections such as anthems, spiritual, hymns and contemporary gospel that are conducive to the celebration and glorification of God during the worship experience.
Media Ministry – Rev. Sonia Smith
The purpose of this ministry is to implement, administer, and oversee all modes of communication and marketing initiatives of the church in order to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Men’s Ministry – Rev. Quentin Scott Sr.
This group promotes Christian fellowship among the brothers of the church through Bible study, male character building activities and mutual support.
Neighborhood Canvassing – Deacon Sharyl Smith
The goal of this group is to canvass the community to ascertain the needs of the community so that we may appropriately minister to those needs with the hope of transforming the community into the Kingdom of God.
New Life Ministry – Rev. LaNeshya Evans
This ministry is responsible for assimilating new members into Shiloh’s family through bonding with them and grounding and building the new convert by teaching the Word of God.
Nurses Unit – Patsy Hatton
The mission of the nurses unit is to assist the sick and disabled. They also provide comfort and support to bereaved families.
Pastoral Care - Rev. Debra Watkins & Rev. Margaret Lofton
This group coordinates and provides care to the membership of the church during times of illness, bereavement, and crisis through visitation, phone calls and cards.
Peer Crisis Counseling
Through this ministry, biblical counseling is offered to those who are vulnerable to the temptation of the secular world and encouragement is offered to them to trust God and obey His Word.
This group keeps members of Shiloh aware of issues pertaining to the political arena by conducting non- partisan activities including but not limited to voter registration, the distribution of literature, participating in candidate forums and explaining issues.
The praise team serves to establish an atmosphere of and lead the congregation into corporate praise and worship using the ministry of song, along with exhortation and encouragement.
Security Team – Deacon Leroy Lofton
This team seeks to provide a safe environment for God’s people to worship.
Senior Ushers – Karleen Briggs

Shiloh Gems – Barbara Clash
The youth choir is designed for children ages 6-12 that provide an opportunity for them to be used by the Holy Spirit in expressing their love for God through songs of praise.
Small Group Ministry – Rev. Sonia Smith
To provide a medium for all to give and receive love, care, encouragement, and support.
Street Corner Ministry – Deacon Sharyl Smith
This is an evangelistic effort to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with a particular community by preaching the gospel in the open air and the distribution of Christian tracks.
Sunday School – Mary Williams
The purpose of Sunday school is to provide a study opportunity for all ages in the ministry that supports the fundamentals of the Christian faith and is offered each Sunday prior to worship.
Supportive Mothers & Fathers – Laresa Johnson
The Supportive Mothers and Fathers Ministry is open-handed toward our brothers and sisters in need. Outreach services included: providing new and nearly new clothing, providing school uniforms and supplies, and sponsoring a food basket and toy giveaway at Christmas time.
Tuesday Senior’s – Sylvia White
Retired senior members of the church meet every Tuesday to keep active and interact with peers in an atmosphere of Christian love, Bible Study, and warm fellowship.
Vacation Bible School – Min. Alan-Michael Carter & Trustee Janice Reed
The purpose of VBS is to provide a time of study and evangelism for both the membership and the community (all ages) over a one week period during the summer.
Wedding Ministry – Sylvia White
This ministry provides wedding planning assistance to couples in preparation for the ordinance of Holy matrimony with reverence and respect.
Women’s Ministry – Rev. Carolyn Walker
The ministry seeks to minister to the whole woman who has been made in the image of God to give Him glory and honor by walking in her gifts in according to the call God has placed on her life.
Young Adult Ministry – Min. Alan Michael Carter
The Young Adult Ministry seeks to provide a community where young Christians can grow together spiritually and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
Youth Ministry – Min. Alan-Michael Carter
The Youth Ministry through the word of God and fellowship seeks to encourage the youth to commit to Christian Education, Academic Excellence, the pursuit of vibrant careers and community service.
